Artist's Description

It's always a fun day to be out in the sailboat and see all the people on the Washington State Ferry go by. You can see Seattle off to the left in the background. The Washington State Ferries are some of the biggest ferries in all the states. This superferry or is it Jumbo.. carries over 200 cars. I better look up all the facts for those of you that want to know EXACTLY! You can see Seattle off in the distance, off to the left. Wait until that wake of the ferryboat hits my sailboat, it will be a bumpy right for a while. Not that you can see it, but maybe you want to know some stats about the Seattle skyline?
Seattle skyline on a beautiful sunny day with various shades of clouds included.Puget Sound is a gorgeous place. I took this picture while on my sailboat. I was sailing into a local marina. I stopped to have lunch in the middle of Puget Sound. It was nice to see sunshine, and the dark cloud passing over me to the left, and a nice white sunny coud heading on top me. There is no...

About Kym Backland

Kym Backland

Capturing a moment in time, is one of the best emotions. I love seeing something thru the lens and holding it near you as long as you can. I like for that image to be caught by surprise. A pure emotion. That to me is usually the most interesting. Anyways.... Photography is my medium. I do enjoy photographing those "Funny Animals" I see along the way........Laughter gets you thru a lot of hard times...I appreciate you taking the time to see what I see..... As you might have noticed I have never written a biography about myself for over 2 years. I figured I had better write one now. I'm definitely not going to write my "BIO" in the third person, so that I sound more important than I really am. Should I warn you that I have "run on"...
