Artist's Description
I didn't even see the baby raccoon underneath at first. I see the Mother Raccoon in my birdbath, and then as I look closer I see the baby is underneath. He is almost camouflaged as the little baby gets vertical and hides underneath the birdbath bowl, and his Mommy. The Bald Eagle is flying over the yard at the same time and I am glad to see that the baby raccoon is somewhat undercover as his talons swoop down on my yard. It's such a stressful time with all the new babies, and fledglings being born!
About Kym Backland
Capturing a moment in time, is one of the best emotions. I love seeing something thru the lens and holding it near you as long as you can. I like for that image to be caught by surprise. A pure emotion. That to me is usually the most interesting. Anyways.... Photography is my medium. I do enjoy photographing those "Funny Animals" I see along the way........Laughter gets you thru a lot of hard times...I appreciate you taking the time to see what I see..... As you might have noticed I have never written a biography about myself for over 2 years. I figured I had better write one now. I'm definitely not going to write my "BIO" in the third person, so that I sound more important than I really am. Should I warn you that I have "run on"...
