As I watched the Bees and Hornets taking over my Hummingbird Feeder, I began to watch the Hummingbirds and Hornets fighting for territory, as I went to take a picture of those two fighting, I saw that I had captured These two Hummingbirds going "beak to beak." I was surprised how vicious they are to each other. Flying at high speeds, I could never see it with the naked eye. I am trying to get a photo of the Hornet and the Hummingbird fighting it out. These Hummers are beautiful, graceful, and wicked at the same time!
Here are some of those Hummingbird facts........
Hummingbirds compete for nectar and insects. They guard their territories fiercely, perching high near flowering bushes or feeders. Anna's hummingbird puffs itself up to look large. In duels the hummers use their bills and claws as weapons. They sometimes collide with a loud thud. I recently saw two blue-throated hummingbirds fighting over a feeder. The perched bird raised its head and held out its wings while the oth...
Capturing a moment in time, is one of the best emotions. I love seeing something thru the lens and holding it near you as long as you can. I like for that image to be caught by surprise. A pure emotion. That to me is usually the most interesting. Anyways.... Photography is my medium. I do enjoy photographing those "Funny Animals" I see along the way........Laughter gets you thru a lot of hard times...I appreciate you taking the time to see what I see..... As you might have noticed I have never written a biography about myself for over 2 years. I figured I had better write one now. I'm definitely not going to write my "BIO" in the third person, so that I sound more important than I really am. Should I warn you that I have "run on"...

Tessa, I watched these guys for hours, and they really harassed other birds, the squirrels, and all sorts of animals.. I was so surprised what I saw with these little "hornets".. I wish I could capture it on film.. or on SD Media cards I should say!
