They never leave each other. "TWO-GETHERNESS" It's so sweet to see a brother and sister that stick together through thick and thin! They have been on THIN branches together, and on thorny rosebushes together. I wish all relationship were like this. Friends until the end! Look how cute and fuzzy these little fellers are! I wish I could pet them and take them home and give them hugs and kisses. (I know, no can do) but a girl can dream, can't she? I realize now that one of them is a runt (smaller) and gets harassed by an Aunt or her Mother, not sure who it is. The runt's Grandmother is really unkind to this little one. you think the Grandmother would be nice, since the Grandmother herself was a "runt" and bullied. But, I guess it doesn't work that way in the animal world. This was one of those "combat crawl" photographs. Down on the ground with the Horsetail weed, and nettles. Gosh, I hate Nettles. They hurt and sting. Someone told me that you are supposed to use the back of a fern (those little bumps) and rub that on a Nettle Sting. I have tried it, not sure if it worked or not, because right after that I used some Witch Hazel..

So wonderful dear Kym; makes me smile! I love all of your raccoon images - they are so much fun....I remember years ago, (seems like a life time ago) my husband and I would drive down to Big Sur on the Ca coast and hand feed the raccoons every evening....then a couple of years later I heard how vicious they can be....it was hard for me to believe as they were so gentle and even let me feel their palms......but after hearing that I never hand fed them again......I love this beautiful composition my friend!
