Today there are three generations on the deck. Grandma (whose back is turned to the camera) is grumpy. She's always grumpy. The coonie with her tongue out is the second generation raccoon. The little baby is her baby. Grumpy Grandma tried to hit the baby over the side of the deck. Mommy saved her. She caught her just in time with her paw! Poor little baby doesn't know what is going on. She's just trying to hang on!!! It happens a few more times. Not sure what the "fight" is all about.. And......"Yes, I am far away, and No, I don't get close to the action"... hehe

Ah Kym, you've got me LAUGHING!!! I just LOVE the way you are able to document these awesome and funny days of their lives. They really are so almost human in their social structure and emotions. I'm so happy that you are able to do this. It's a truly unusual blessing to be able to get daytime and thus clear and read-able shots. I'll bet that you have the resources to teach National Geographic a few things about the dear rockies, and their social structure. I simply Adore you for this! V/F

Love this Kym and of course love the title! Poor baby! Nasty grandma! v/f My neighbor who rehabilitates coons contacted me and said she had another three babies in her care. Can't wait to get to see them!

This can be another episode of "Family Feud" or maybe Grandma Coon (Rosemary Coonie) is trying to teach Baby Coon (George Coonie) to behave as he gets too much attention. I am using those names and I hope George Coonie won't call me for messing up his name
