Artist's Description

This baby deer was born in the yard, and came over to me, and started crying. Not sure what the little feller wanted. But he seemed to be imprinted on me. He stayed for months, coming and looking around the front yard. He almost looked like a Llama or something. His Mother would leave him alone when she saw me in the garden. This little fawn is known as a Black Tailed deer. They are from this area. Here is a little bit of information about them.
This cute little black tailed fawn comes and eats my flowers, but how can you resist this face? His Mother and Father, and brothers and sisters live around here, and up in the woods. I've found many areas where they sleep, and have babies. They are known as Black-Tailed Deer. Obviously, their tails are black. Many generations have been borned in my front yard, and around the property. We have Coyotes now, so many of the little ones, have ....well, you know... got eaten for dinner. About Kym Backland

Kym Backland

Capturing a moment in time, is one of the best emotions. I love seeing something thru the lens and holding it near you as long as you can. I like for that image to be caught by surprise. A pure emotion. That to me is usually the most interesting. Anyways.... Photography is my medium. I do enjoy photographing those "Funny Animals" I see along the way........Laughter gets you thru a lot of hard times...I appreciate you taking the time to see what I see..... As you might have noticed I have never written a biography about myself for over 2 years. I figured I had better write one now. I'm definitely not going to write my "BIO" in the third person, so that I sound more important than I really am. Should I warn you that I have "run on"...
