Artist's Description

So do I put my left foot in, then my right foot in, I do the Hokey Pokey, and then I turn it all around? Is that what it's all about? Now, is that my right or your right foot I start on? hehe. This baby raccoon does the funniest moves. He has this funny stance, and he loves standing on his back legs. (Oh, I guess they are all LEGS, aren't they?) hehe. This is the broken ear baby raccoon. And, no these raccoons aren't my pets! They have lived here long before I moved in, and they just come to the same spot year after year to have their families. I live in a forest...so they live here too. I know they can be pests, but what's a Mother to do! There are quite a few families around here, and they live in the big Cedar trees that are around my domain.
Here is some of that technical information about the little feller called the Raccoon.
The size of a raccoon's home range as well as its nightly hunting area varies greatly depending on the habitat and food supply. Home range diameters...

About Kym Backland

Kym Backland

Capturing a moment in time, is one of the best emotions. I love seeing something thru the lens and holding it near you as long as you can. I like for that image to be caught by surprise. A pure emotion. That to me is usually the most interesting. Anyways.... Photography is my medium. I do enjoy photographing those "Funny Animals" I see along the way........Laughter gets you thru a lot of hard times...I appreciate you taking the time to see what I see..... As you might have noticed I have never written a biography about myself for over 2 years. I figured I had better write one now. I'm definitely not going to write my "BIO" in the third person, so that I sound more important than I really am. Should I warn you that I have "run on"...
